How Much Do Clippers Get Paid Per 1000 Views? 2026 Rates
The typical rate on Kadr is $0.50 to $1.00 per 1,000 verified views. Across the market the spread is far wider: from $0.03 for a banner placed over any video to $6 on rare brand campaigns. The rate depends on what is actually being sold.

Figures are as of November 4, 2026. Affiliate rates are published terms. We did not separately verify that they get paid.
Gambling promotions sit apart, at up to $1.80 to $2.25 per 1,000. The key words there are "up to". Kadr has no casino or betting campaigns.
On the Content Rewards board, 15 campaigns pay under $1, 24 pay exactly $1, 33 pay over $1 and up to $2, and 5 pay above $2. The board shows each campaign's top rate and mostly lists active campaigns.
Why do rates differ so much?
- What is sold. A logo over someone else's video costs cents. A clip made from the client's own material costs more, because it is their content on other people's accounts.
- Niche. On the Content Rewards board the median is $2.00 in finance, $1.25 in podcasts, $1.00 in music and $0.65 in gaming. Each niche has few campaigns, so treat these as rough guides.
- Who the client is. Streamers and gambling verticals mostly pay below average, because there are few clients and high volume. Their big numbers are one-off promotions.
- Platform. One campaign can pay differently by platform, for example $1.35 on Instagram and $1.85 on TikTok.
- Audience. The cheaper regular ads are for an audience, the lower the ceiling on the rate.
- Fees. A board rate can be shown before deductions. On Content Rewards the clipper pays 10%, so $1.00 becomes about $0.90. On Kadr the clipper keeps 100% of the rate and the brand pays 15% on top.
What does one clip really bring in?
The stated rate is a ceiling. You take home less, for four reasons.
- Views are low. In a viral.app sample, 87% of TikTok videos stay under 10,000 views and the median is 866. At $0.60 that is $0.52 per clip.
- There may be a cap. A campaign can limit the payout per clip. For example, $60 at a $0.60 rate stops a clip at 100,000 views.
- There is a window. Kadr pays for views after link submission, for 30 days. Anything before submission or after the window does not count.
- The counter is imperfect. In our tests TikTok showed exact numbers only up to 10,000, then steps of 100, and steps of 100,000 from one million. At $1 per 1,000, one step on a million-view clip equals $100. The number in our tracker is the final one.
We looked at seven campaigns with open data. The real price of tracked views came to a median of 74% of the stated rate, ranging from 18% to 107%. Part of the gap is views not yet paid, and part is caps and minimums.
Most clips earn little, and a small share of them brings in the money. Our guide to making money clipping shows what your first payout takes.
How much do YouTube and TikTok pay per 1,000 views?
This is a different kind of money: the platform shares ad revenue and pays no fixed rate.
YouTube Shorts. Mediacube claims $0.01 to $0.05 per 1,000 views for many channels. That is a vendor figure, and we have no verified one. The public Shorts counter includes every start and replay, while monetization relies on engaged views, so dividing revenue by the public count misleads.
TikTok. Our sources hold no verified rate per 1,000 views, so we will not give one. Blog figures vary widely. According to press reports, its creator rewards program is not available in every country.
If the Shorts figure is right, a $0.50 campaign rate is 10 to 50 times higher. Campaigns pay for views whether or not you have platform monetization turned on.
